Misty and Casey’s story began in an algebra class in high school. Casey passed Misty a note one day that read “one day you’ll be my wife.” That one note led up to their wedding day. Misty had a beautiful dress and it’s always one of my favorite things to film. We hung the dress in a tree in the church courtyard. The mild breeze carried it just perfectly. It made a great opening shot for their wedding video. During the traditional ceremony Misty got a little emotional as she recited her vows to Casey. Afterwards we headed outside to film the photo shoot and had some fun with a video shoot while we waited for the town car to arrive.
The Reception was at the Laguna Hills banquet hall. We’ve filmed there a few times before and I just love the setting. After the traditional toasts from the bridal party Misty and Casey toasted to their love for each other. After all the “ahhhs” from the guests everyone gathered in the middle of the dance floor for a group picture! It was a perfect evening ending with Misty and Casey smearing a piece of their wedding cake all over each other’s faces!!!
